Allegheny station is located by Acrisure Stadium and is the current end of the line. Entertainment options are abundant here from the Andy Warhol museum to the Carnegie Science Center to Rivers Casino. No matter where your interests lie, there is sure to be something of interest to you in North Shore.
Downtown
Greeting you from the airport via the Fort Pitt Tunnel lies Downtown Pittsburgh - dubbed “the only city with an entrance.” This friendly and comfortable city offers plenty of things to do for its residents and visitors alike. Start your day by renting a bike to explore much of the city and its 24 miles of trails along the river. Then choose from either a free walking tour of the public art and architecture or check out the Three Rivers Art Festival, also free. Take a break and relax at the iconic fountain and Point State Park until you work up your appetite. Finally, choose from any of the great restaurants and dine al fresco at the historic Market Square. Whatever your walk of life is, Downtown has you covered with endless options for things to do.
Mount Washington
Mount Washington is one of the most visited areas in Pittsburgh and it is for good reason. Its namesake stems from when George Washington stood perched along Grandview Ave as he mapped the land and rivers back in the day. There is much to enjoy here from sites to shopping and dining. Take in the Pittsburgh skyline along Grandview Avenue and see the city for its breadth. One will find great dining establishments here along with these amazing views. But if the delicious ice cream and bakery offerings are something to save for your evenings, then take in a hike at the city park “Emerald View” in the densely wooded yet urban oasis.
